Notes
12/3/23 Still the most velcro little girl! (Not so little anymore) This girl is solid. Very dark, dark silver with sable around the ears, up legs and sable mask. Confirmation is a 9.5, head is a bit small, temperament is 8. She is a forward/friendly pup that is building her confidence daily. She has learned what a vacuum is, cats, small dogs, large dogs and the sounds of radio. Don't ever discount the sounds of the radio and TV!
This girl will always be velcro. Soft, easy to train, food motivated,. She wants to watch you, learn from you and be with you. She looks to people for validation and "okay" that things around her are safe. She will grow out of this, but she needs to be shown the world. When she is unsure, she whines, looks at you and gives you hugs. :) Soft reminders that she is being good and that it's okay is all she needs.
She did great in the crate for her first time! She loves that it is "her" space. She can move away from things she doesn't quite know, and she can learn what they are in her own time. She barks softly at things she doesn't know and this is a great time to talk to her and tell her what is acceptable to bark at (nothing) and to let her know you're there when the big dog comes too close. Remember, we are their "moms" when big things come near them. We must remind them that their job is NOT to take care of things themselves, but rather to look to us for the confidence and guidance to grow and learn better ways to accept new things.
Loves lap therapy and is the best at couch snuggles while watching a TV. Today, she will be inside getting crate training/lap therapy and leash training in the house. 3 days of this and she will have learned the word "kennel", go potty, and how to come.
11/2/23 Velcro girl, but wants to be with you. Loves attention, but not up to AA standards. Looks like a GS, reserved, but the boldest of the litter. Not up to AA standards, these pups will need a lot of socialization. Highly intelligent. Individual, one on one training will work best for these guys.
10/14/23 Second out of the den. Very sweet puppy. Both girls are well, girls. Friendly and wanting to be your friend. Pink collar is more forward than her sister, and would rather huddle with you when unsure than watch from afar.
Very quiet puppy right now, like the rest, this is the more reserved/shy stage for a puppy coming from the den. Had they stayed inside the house longer, they would have been more adapted to things already.
Lap therapy with this girl went well. Very soft and thoughtful pup. She is very aware.
Very loving, lap dog. Gives hugs.
Temperament 9.4 at this date of 6 weeks.
10/6/23 confident and sweet pup. More on the slightly active side for our pups. This gal won't be very large, maybe 85 to 95 lbs, she will do walks/small jogs and she is velcro. She wants to be right with you. Isn't a fan of lap therapy yet, she has too many new things to check out!
9/26/23 Very soft, slightly reserved female. Watches and thinks and learns all in quiet at this time.
9/13/23 This gal is pretty. I love her silver and though she will lighten up, she is the darkest pup in the litter.
9/9/23 Quite, large and dark female. Too much stop in her forehead, but nice pup.
Birth to 3 day old temperament test: 8.3
