3/9/2023 At 28.4 lbs, this is the largest pup so far under 8 weeks. He will be very large and will need to be carried up any steps more than 3 until he is 5 or 6 months. Large bones and solid build, with yellow eyes, he will be stunning. Ears may not go up, and he will go lighter before darkening back up a bit.
2/24/2023 At this age, General is a velcro pup. Never strays to far away. Looks for your affection and he will make space for himself near you! Softer than his brother, but a bit more stubborn too. He is a tad sensitive and learns quickly. Hugs and lots of love are what he wants most!
This boy has large, heavy, slow growing pup.
These boys will be ready to leave at 10 weeks.
2/20/2023 Loves lap therapy and being with his people. Bold and curious to the things around him. Very solid pup. Confirmation is spot on, back could be longer if we were keeping him for breeding.
Great for all families. Eager to please. Not super velcro, he will watch you and make sure you're there and keep an eye on you, but his curiosity keeps him traveling in small areas around you. He loves to watch things. At 5 weeks this pup does not like you to be away from him. He would much rather be by your side than away from you. He won't necessarily follow you all around the house unless you allow him to, but he will always want to be within your sight.
2-18-2023 this boy will be looking for his forever home as unfortunately curled tails are dominant and we cannot have this in our direwolves. This boy is exceptional and is the pic of this litter! He is large, big boned, beautiful as is his brother and is more laid back. If you are interested in this boy please let me know.
2-18-2023 This boy much like his brother in color, is more laid back and reserved. His "play" of softly biting and stepping on his brother is more quiet and slow in methodology. Both boys love lap therapy and sit quietly listening to what you are saying.
While his brother Admiral will stay and stare at the chickens and watch what you are doing with interest, this boy will look and then leave. He has more important things to do than learn more about what is going on around him at this time. Napping is so important! :D
2-6-2023 Large pup, quiet and not bothered by much. Gets business done and goes to sleep.
Playing more with his siblings now that he is seeing and hearing better.
1-31-2023: Eyes opened a couple of days ago. Being still and quiet, I have picked this boy up and he is curious. He smells me and listens but does nothing. If I move to fast, he is aware and tells me off by squirming. I hold him in a towel so he feels safe. He allowed me to bother him with my finger on his face but i did feel an awkwardness in that he would rather be back with his pack. All the pups have the territory of north south east and west all marked in their brains and where they should be which is the center of the underneath table. Some pups will roam to the wall, but most regroup in the center, even before the eyes open. When this pup gets lost and is all alone, he does cry out as he has learned that his moms nose will soon be there. Those times when his mom is outside, he scoots around in more of a hurry than his brother and this makes him more confused, until he settles down and can smell or feel vibrations and then moves in that direction. His brain is a sponge and he is learning to accept the things he can not change, lol. He is a lighter color than his brother. At this age = 9 score
Birth: White tip tail. Very strong pup. He got upset with humans trying to help him and told the breed founder off! I am not going to comply! (Lois says that is what he told her when he wanted to get away!) sticks close to mom and pack.
