Notes
10/18/2026 Very sweet, sensitive and attentive female. She is a bit louder than I would like and she will be brought in as the other boys to get crate trained and potty trained and work on her first leash training. She is very attentive to what you want and though uncertain at first, she takes to redirection with a solid mind. She wants to please, loves cuddles and hugs and is very velcro.
9/26/26 Raw scores, 9.8, but this litter was put outside early, is growing fast and my time with them is limited more than it would be if they were still inside. Due to this, the environment is making them "free" "wild" puppies. Increased lap therapy and 6 week crate training is mandatory and these pups unless going to experienced AA Owners, will not get them until they are at least 10 weeks! This will allow me to work with them and potty train them before you get them.
9/9/26 Eyes open at 8.5 days?! This is a first for me... usually not quite this early. She is learning her new boundaries and as her eyes become more focused, she will start to flinch at things which is normal, but still such a doll.
9/4/26 This little girl is so quiet, so soft and sweet and just the apple of my eye. Though she is cream and silver sable and the wrong color for the breed, she is such an amazing female already.
KINGSLEY KENNELS
American Alsatian | Puppy Breed Standard Evaluation
Trait Breed ideal (simplified) Puppy observation Rating
Temperament Calm, confident, gentle; not timid or hostile -M
Vocalization Quiet; infrequent, low-pitched barking - Varies (I am accepting this from this girl, because as a breeder, I have to move foward and this litter is the best to come from this bitch. She is not perfect, she is a move forward.
Human connection Attentive, affectionate, companion-oriented - M
Activity / prey drive Relaxed; low prey drive; not hyperactive - D She has low prey drive, but she has female play drive. She isn't hyperactive, but she is a girl, so she is more happy than I would prefer, but when asked to settle, she does so quietly, watching and attentively.
Bone / substance Heavy bone; broad, substantial build - D She has medium/heavy bones.
Body proportions Balanced; longer than tall - M
Head / muzzle Broad, deep head; strong, shorter muzzle - She has a bit more of a stop than I would like.
Eyes Almond, slightly slanted; lighter preferred - M
Ears Small relative to head; triangular, erect as mature __________________ ______
Legs / feet Straight, sound legs; large, strong feet - M For a female, and for her parents, her feet are strong and as they should be from her genetics.
Tail Straight, thick base; no tight curl over back __________________ ______
Coat Dense, harsh outer coat; not silky or curly - M Course and shorter
Color / markings Wolf-gray silver sable preferred; banded hairs - V She is not the color we want, BUT she will throw silver and dark sable. It will take a few more generations to get her color, ONLY because I have to watch the temperaments on this line due to Macha's tendency to push stubborn pups.
Movement Smooth, straight tracking; stable topline - M Her back is a bit shorter than I would prefer, but her bones and movement are perfect
Rating key: M = Meets current age-appropriate ideal D = Developing / too early V = Varies from ideal N/O = Not observed
Strongest traits: As a newborn, she was large, quiet and still. She was a thinker from birth. Only environmental adapting from being outside earlier than usual has altered her. So, she is exactly what I want as a breeder.
Traits to watch: Her barking. She was always a quiet pup, but being outside and near another dog that barks for no reason, she thinks that barking for no reason is okay. So, I will watch her training to learning to be quiet and see how well she takes to it.
Puppy ratings are snapshots, not predictions of adult conformation or temperament. Adult height, weight, coat, ear set, and proportions require later
reassessment. Based on the Kingsley Kennels published breed standard
