Notes
This litter was put outside early, is growing fast and my time with them is limited more than it would be if they were still inside. Due to this, the environment is making them "free" "wild" puppies. Increased lap therapy and 6 week crate training is mandatory and these pups unless going to experienced AA Owners, will not get them until they are at least 10 weeks! This will allow me to work with them and potty train them
10/18/26 Very confident boy! Not as much of a loud mouth anymore. He is learning to be patient an wait, and he has no fear! He is sensitive of loud noises, but this is normal, as I didn't get the ability to keep them inside as long as I would normally like. So, we are working on lap therapy and making sure that he is inside, where vacuum's, other dogs, noises and "life" happens. Very intelligent in that he wants to please and do the right thing, but gets excited very easily. Wants to be with people and be "friends". While there is nothing wrong with this, we have to remind him that he will be a BIG boy when he is grown, so making sure he isn't handsy with his paws, and is respectable will be mandatory.
10/9/26 This boy is starting to become more serious to a point! Same as his brother, very happy boy and loved everyone! Very confident and has no fear. Obedience asap and crate and lap training are needed! He is going to try and tell you he needs to be a "free and hapoy/wild" puppy! No, he does not! He needs to be a polite, respectful member of society. He is going to be big and to some people, scary! He has black ticking on his coat and is beautiful. He is going to attract a lot of attention, so make sure he knows how to not use his paws to touch people and how to be calm and polite, (if you let people touch him) because he is going to want to be best friends with everyone.
I will be keeping this boy until 12 weeks so that he can be crate trained and potty trained and his brain isn't so much puppy brained. IF you have had one of our puppies before, you can take him early, but make sure he is doing lap therapy daily! (This boy whines when bored or not being allowed to do his own thing! Not acceptable, hence why he needs to learn patience and I will work on this and have been daily. The crate training will take care of this as well, but this is why his price is what it is.)
9/26/26 Loki is for experienced owners! He will test you, he is stubborn and thinks he is right most of the time, but past the attitude, he is a sweet heart. Even at birth (raw scores) he was stubborn. He has placed to go (walked out of the womb basically) and things to see. He is Opinionated like his father in his vocals. He may roo roo at you. He knows not to do it, but chooses to disregard what you want to find his own place. Very, very smart! Early training absolutely required and neuter early! He is a LOOKER too! He is going to turn heads!
9/12/26 Loki as we have rightfully nicknamed him, is truly a beautiful boy. He has things to say and doesn't mind saying them. To his mom, the corner, his brother and sister. Large boy, very nice confirmation and darker than the rest. Solid male for sure!
9/4/26 Nickname Loki! This boy is a troublemaker! Silly boy finds his way out of the litter room, on the kitchen floor, behind panels and anywhere he isn't supposed to be and then complains about it!

KINGSLEY KENNELS
American Alsatian | Puppy Breed Standard Evaluation
Trait Breed ideal (simplified) Puppy observation Rating
Temperament Calm, confident, gentle; not timid or hostile -D He is very forward, sweet and soft, but he lacks confidence and needs a soft hand for correction. He is very easy to train, because he wants to please, but he doesn't like being in trouble, so make sure you do both, sensitizing and desensitizing with this boy. He will look scary, but is a big baby who loves hugs!
Vocalization Quiet; infrequent, low-pitched barking - Varies He WAS the one to make himself known earlier before correction. This means it is in his genetics! You can environmentally change this by making sure he knows when he can bark and if he can, but currently, he is no longer barking at nothing when I come out to feed and hang out with them.
Human connection Attentive, affectionate, companion-oriented - D As he gains more confidence, this will fall into place without trying. He loves human connection and is very attentive and affectionate, and would love nothing more than to hang out and get pets!
Activity / prey drive Relaxed; low prey drive; not hyperactive - D He is a forward, happy pup. Sensitive to redirection too though, so thought he has times he wants to play and have fun, he can settle easily as well.
Bone / substance Heavy bone; broad, substantial build - M This boy is solid. .
Body proportions Balanced; longer than tall - M
Head / muzzle Broad, deep head; strong, shorter muzzle - _________________
Eyes Almond, slightly slanted; lighter preferred - M
Ears Small relative to head; triangular, erect as mature __________________ ______
Legs / feet Straight, sound legs; large, strong feet - M Perfect for this mom and dad's genes.
Tail Straight, thick base; no tight curl over back __________________ ______
Coat Dense, harsh outer coat; not silky or curly - M Course and shorter
Color / markings Wolf-gray silver sable preferred; banded hairs - M This boy is going to be scary and handsome! Wolf gray silver, with banded hairs and a course coat.
Movement Smooth, straight tracking; stable topline - M
Rating key: M = Meets current age-appropriate ideal D = Developing / too early V = Varies from ideal N/O = Not observed
Strongest traits: Solid, well put together pup that looks like a Dire Wolf
Traits to watch: Confidence. If he doesn't gain confidence, he will be a difficult adult, so this pup cannot go to someone that doesn't understand this!
