Notes
Congratulations to the Herford Family! I am so excited for you guys and can't wait to see this beautiful boy grow up with your boys! You guys got this!!!
10/29/24 Such a sweet boy. This boy will do anything for you. He is thinking more lately. He is also hanging back a bit, watching his siblings, seeing what they will get by being first vs. what he will get for coming in 3rd.
He is a thinker and his mind is moving! He is learning without doing, which is typical for an AA. If you were to sit in the grass with this boy and just let him watch the world go by, he would learn so much without even going anywhere! You must NOT be too forward with this boy. No rough housing, no playing fetch, no tug o war! You can play with him with his toys, but play on his time, don't engage in higher activity play! He needs to be reminded to slow down and think, NOT run and play and jump and be silly.
This pup will do walks/hikes and camping/water activities with you. (If he likes water that is) This boy wants to be a part of your activities, so if you are a bit more active, this boy will fit well.
If you are NOT active, this boy will also hang out and just chill, watching TV, following you to your room or just being your buddy. He is a great pup like this whole litter is, and this guy will give you everything if it means he gets to love you.
Notes 10/24/24 from Lois,
"Going to be a fantastic service Dire Wolf! Long coated all black so far. Soft coat. Easy to train. Should reach 130 lbs. Read my Puppy Handbook. Slow going in the beginning training. Take your time and be with the pup. #1. Socialization: Show the pup everything the world is made of. #2. Come here (which will be very easy to teach as long as you do not lie to the pup. #3. Put the LARGE crate next to the bed and make a space in the living room for his 'space' and teach him to 'go to bed' or what ever word you use and to 'stay there'. Stay there will take a bit of time for him to understand you are not leaving him for a long time. Take baby steps in this training. Lap therapy is a must of course and a pleasure for both animal and trainer. This is a good foundation for puppy training. Long line for walking in the beginning, though he wont be far from your body on any walks. Do not encourage ''independence''. Praise all contact and closeness to you and you will have a FANTASTIC PTSD dog here or a sugar monitor or any kind of Body awareness dog. He is also solid in bone so he could help you stabilize your walking if you need that. WE breeders give you this fantastic blank canvas to work with. It is up to you to put your work on the canvas, so do it well my friends."
10/19/24 very sweet little boy. May reach 118 lb, confirmation 9.2, back end is smaller than front, very sweet pup, forward but soft. This pups
ears should go up because he is smaller, yellow eyes and this boy is a bit of a watcher. Not necessarily velcro, but still wants to be around the action and enjoy what's going on.
9/19/24 118 PM Black Sable with white toes and white chest. No white tip tail. Long coat. Feminine male.
