9/4/24 Lono is a very confident, soft, sweet and velcro boy. He has ALL the features of a direwolf. The stance, the eyes, the structure, with a few things that moving forward with his off-spring, we will see altered.
Lono has beautiful Yellow eyes. Not as yellow as we want, but almost the lightest of all our Dire Wolves so far. He will pass the yellow to his offspring, but no eyes will be more yellow than his, and they will be no less yellow than any female he is with.
He has a slight curl to his tail which is unwanted, an undercoat that is a bit too cottony, but otherwise, perfect. His head is sloped, he has the mask that is wanted, but it is only the brindling that can be seen around his eyes, he holds the brindle gene which can present in a number of ways, but on him, it is within the white and at the skin. His cape is long and his coat though a bit longer, is otherwise perfect.

10/25/23 I know that Lois said that Tiki was the beginning to her "final" Dire Wolf. Looks, personality, all of it... but this boy is going NO WHERE! Fantastic boy. A bit too forward and happy, but that's okay. We will breed him with reserved females, but this boy... wow. His coat is a bit too soft for standards, but he has the longer cape, silver under coat, brindling and he is large boned (Not as heavy as we want, but that's okay, we can fix that) and quiet. I can't wait to see this boy grow!

He is velcro, loves to be with you and sensitive to training. He wants to please, so he will not need a lot of redirection to understand what you want! He will pout if he feels that he has disappointment you.
7/30/23 Loves life! Very smart boy, velcro, easy to train and beautiful, but needs a person that knows dogs. He is too hyper. He will be getting extra lap therapy and crating. (I will start this tomorrow)
Temperament 7 too hyper, intelligence 10. Need to calm him down to get his focus. Once focused, this boy can do everything.

7/29/24 Banshee is in with Lono and Lono only. We are unsure if she has bred, as it is hot during the day and they typically wait until evening to "play". We will wait 32 days and see if it is confirmed and I will update then.

8/27/24 Darcy IS pregnant. Possible fathers, Lono and Korben.
If Lono is the father, you will get silver sable with black tips and possible brindling. Light colors will lighten as they grow. Size will be small! Elsie's line throws small pups, so look at 85 to 110 lbs at most! Medium coats with feathering is possible. Amber eyes, maybe a possible yellow, but most will be darker amber.
Korben would produce large dogs. Pups with this line IF they bred will be 95 to 135 lbs. They will be all silver sables and most will be short to medium coats. THICK undercoats are a possibility! Workouts for your arms!
7/29/24 I did not see a breeding with this gal, so we will wait 32 days and I will update then.
Darcy should be coming into heat in July. We would like to see Lono produce, but as he has not yet, we will use a second proven stud for this litter and see if we get some of Lono's pups as well.
