2/15/26 an update on Sandy's personality. Still very soft, lacking incompetence, very reserved, she needs a quiet home with somebody that is willing to put the time in. While she may act fearful, she is not, she is reserved and cautious. I will be working on her to build her strengths in terms of confidence, she will be getting spayed, and she will continue to look for the right home. She needs a home we're the owners have the time and the patients to continue building this confidence. Her adoption cost is low because of all of these things. She does not meet breed standards in terms of the calm, confident, velcro personality that we breed for. She is very velcro, she loves her people, but she lacks the confidence that she will need to get out in the public and go for the most basic things such as walks with a lot of traffic, the distraction of other people and other dogs. She has been raised on a farm, and though I will be raising her confidence level with walks down our dirt road, and she will see cars in minimal amounts as well as other animals that she is not experienced with, for the time being, any owner that has consistent work schedules with a limited amount of time being home, will not be the right home for her at this point. She has low prey drive, but again lacks confidence. So, she will need an owner that understands that while they are away, she will have to be in a crate because she doesn't know her limitations yet. She is potty trained already, but she has not had months of time in the house to learn where her boundaries are. In my house, she is not allowed to go into the kitchen and down the hallway, but I am also consistently with her, eyes on her at all times. Most households are not like this, so in order for her to blossom, she needs somebody that has the patience and willingness to build her confidence on her schedule. 10/26/2025 Sandy is a sweet, soft, quiet easy going female. She loves cuddles, likes to hang out with her people and going for walks. She will do well with an family, but will need time to watch things if your family has louder children. She likes rules and boundaries and as with all dogs, enjoys knowing their is some balance to the home life. She is patient though, and will work willingly to learn anything you may want her to learn.

This female does require being spayed before leaving due to her vaginal hyperplasia. This will be done before she leaves and is NOT included in her price.

If you believe your family might be a good fit for this girl, let me know and we can talk! She is small enough to be flown in cargo, though I would prefer her to be picked up and traveled back with her knew family for bonding, or with a ground transport.

2/22/25 What a character this gal is! She is so much like her brother (dark blue collar). She is forward, sweet, thoughtful and LOVES belly rubs! She won't be the biggest girl, maybe 108? But she has a bold dynamic personality. She loves fun and loves to play. She doesn't play long, as most of our puppies don't! They are growing too big too fast and it takes a lot of naps to grow into the beautiful girl she will be! Black silver with very little sable in her at all. Still not showing much brindling, but I do believe it will show soon in her whites.

This girl is velcro, but not the "follow you around all day, never leave your side" kind. She is the one that will want to be near you, watching you. Not all the time and it depends on how you raise her! If you let her be the ruler of the house with no limitations, she will become exactly that! She and ALL puppies/dogs need boundaries. The crate is their best friend. It allows them time to sleep with peace, eat in peace if you have other animals and to just have a place to call their own, even if the door is open.

This pup and 99% of our pups don't mind cats and this girl wouldn't mind kids. She is soft. (again, unless you hype her up and teach her to be a squirly idiot! Training is key to EVERY dog.) she is a lover and want to please.

1/25/25 I sent a lot of time with this beautiful girl today. This girl is exactly as mom explains in the previous note. She was spoiled by me, brought inside to get her own food so that she doesn't have to compete with anyone. She is TINY! If she makes 94 lbs, I would be surprised. Very inquisitive, listens and processes and has the cutest "boop" ever. She sits in your lap, looks at you, gives you side eye, brings her little nose close... then backs away and the presses it JUST to your face and presses her snoot into you hard before taking it away, looking you dead in the eyes and then goes back to laying with you! LOL this little girl is something else. Might make a good service dog? Detector of blood sugar? Seizures? One can't tell without the right trainer, but she is something else.

1/15/25 This girl really wants to be an only dog, because she thinks she is too good for all the rest of the pups. She doesn't think she is a dog! She thinks she is the queen or princess and deserves special attention! She is a thinker and at this time in her life, she is not really a working dog, more like you will be working for her. As she gets older, she will be turned in to a velcro dog when she finds out she is actually a canine!
